Four Layers of Fundraising
We love sharing the life-changing experience and lessons of Antarctica with current & future changemakers - so we try to make the process as easy as possible. We provide four 'layers' of fundraising support, enumerated below:
FUNDRAISING SUPPORT PACKAGE
First, the Fundraising Support Package: templates & guides that we give accepted participants access to. This includes recommended fundraising steps and techniques, sample letters and presentations to send to sponsors, overviews of corporate sponsorship and crowdfunding, images and video, and much more.
PRE-EXPEDITION ZOOM CALLS
There are also pre-Expedition Zoom calls. These occur approximately two or three times a month, and attendees are welcome to ask lots of questions then, too. There are also recordings of past calls dating back to June 2020, available here.
FUNDRAISING COACHES
There are two fundraising coaches who are also Antarctic Expedition alumni. Akshat (specializing in corporate sponsorship) & Theo (specializing in crowdfunding) have both helped numerous candidates reach their fundraising goals and join the Expeditions. We can introduce accepted participants to either or both of them.
ONE-ON-ON ASSISTANCE
Finally, we are always ready to provide one-on-one assistance, fundraising-specific guidance, and review materials as needed, and we are happy to answer questions. Candidates are never alone in the process.
